Eliza E. S. Chorgen Services for Mrs. Eliza Estella Schofield Chorgen, 31, wife of Pete Chorgen of 260 Twenty-fifth, will be conducted Thursday at three p. m. in Lindquist Sons' Colonial iuneral chapel. The body may be viewed at the i home Wednesday afternoon and | evening and will be returned to Lindquist Sons for viewing until time of services. Mrs. Chorgen died in a local hospital Monday at ten-thirty a. m., following a long illness. She was born Sept. 23, 1911, in Evanston, Wyo., a daughter of Adam and Mabel Estella Morby Lewis. She married Mr. Chorgen in Evanston on March 3, 1933. She had spent her entire life in Evanston, McGill, Nov., and Ogden. She was a member of the L. D. S. church. Surviving are her husband and parents of Ogden; five brothers and sisters, Vernon Lewis Schofield ol Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. Thelma Anderson, Mrs. Marjorie Lee, Mrs. Blanch Hughes and Adam Schofield of Ogden; and a grandmother and grandfather, Mrs. Martha b. Text of Obituary: Adam (Sandy) Schofield Adam Kenneth (Sandy) Schofield, 64, of 973 36th, died Monday, June28,1962 in the McKay-Dee Hospital of aheartattack. He was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Green River, Wyo., a son of Adam LewisandMabel Morby Schofield. He married Fern Nalder on Dec 11, 1939,inOgden. He had been employeed as a chief crew dispatcher for the UnionPacificRailroad. He retired in Juneof1978. He had lived most of his life inOgden. He was a member of the LDS Church. He had served as president oftheOgden Railway Bowling League and had served in several offices intheBrotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks, No.641. He was a memberoftheFraternal Order of Eagles, No.2472, and had served on thefinancecommittee. He served with the Utah National Guard forseveralyears. Surviving are his widow of Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. BrentW.(Sandra) Innes, Mrs. Clifford Dee (Judy) Spinden, and Mrs.GaryA.C.(Cheryl) Young, all of Ogden;fivegrandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Rigby, LasVegas,Nev. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist andsonsColonial Chapel in Odgen with Norris W.Nalderofficiating.
